Symptoms of Internal Hemorrhoids

The most common symptom of internal hemorrhoids is rectal bleeding. It can be nerve wracking to see blood on your toilet paper when you wipe, but most often it is due to internal hemorrhoids. - Skin irritation – internal hemorrhoids that are large may seep mucas, which would cause irritation in the anal area.
- Discomfort – those who have internal hemorrhoids may feel as though they have to have another bowel movement right after they had a bowel movement.
- Itching – due to the mucus that seeps out from the internal hemorrhoids, you may feel a great deal of itching from the hemorrhoids.
- Pain – unlike external hemorrhoids, internal hemorrhoids are not often painful, unless, of course, they become large. Large hemorrhoids may bulge out of the anus and may be extremely painful due to the muscle that are on the anus squeezing the hemorrhoids.
Treating Internal Hemorrhoids
There are a number of ways to treat external hemorrhoids, but there are only a few ways of internal hemorrhoid treatment. If you’re looking to fix the problem for good, you may have to undergo a hemorrhoidectomy, which is a surgical procedure that will get rid of the hemorrhoids and is a good option if the hemorrhoids you have are extremely large.
