Over the last ten years, the Internet has become an invaluable resource for men researching the best ways to deal with occasional hemorrhoids outbreaks. There are sites dedicated to all natural treatments and other sites dedicated to helping reduce the pain and swelling so commonly associated with hemorrhoids. Here is one experience report from a typical 45 year old man who suffered from occasional hemorrhoids outbreaks.
Jim’s outbreak began on a Wednesday night after he had been working late at the office. He hadn’t had much of a chance to eat healthy that week since things were too busy. His water consumption was way down, his diet was terrible and his stress levels were way up. As any experienced hemorrhoids sufferer can tell you, that is a dangerous mix. His symptoms included itchy, painful external hemorrhoids that bled a tiny bit when he went to the bathroom. To start, Jim showered thoroughly and cleaned the swollen area. Once the area was clean, Jim ran himself a hot bath (as hot as he could stand) and sat in it for about 30 minutes. Jim also took the time to decompress a little and work out some of the built up stress that was affecting his life. Feeling refreshed and noticing that the swelling had gone down a little, Jim applied some topical cream to the hemorrhoid before going to bed. Jim also drank a big glass of water right before bed since he knew proper hydration was a big part of stopping a hemorrhoid outbreak. In the morning, Jim left early for work so he could stop and have breakfast. He also made an extra effort to drink more water throughout the day. By the end of the week, Jim’s outbreak was essentially over, thanks in large part to his prompt treatment and attention to detail.
