The reason why fiber is such an important part in solving the hemorrhoid treatment puzzle is that extra fiber in your diet will help to strengthen the muscles around the colon as well as causing you to have a healthier stool that allows you strain less every time you go to the bathroom. An increase in fiber is only a part of a sound strategy to solving hemorrhoids through a proper diet. A diet rich in vegetables, fruits, lean meats and a diet low in sugar and saturated fat is just as important. A healthier lifestyle is a great and natural way to stop hemorrhoids before they get any worse.
